FAQs
How long does SEO take for a law firm?
Movement on long-tail practice-area terms usually shows inside three months. Competitive head terms in a capital city take six to twelve. Anyone promising page one in weeks is either bidding on ads or telling you what you want to hear.
How much does legal SEO cost?
Pricing depends on how many practice areas you want to compete in and how strong the competing firms are. We quote after a discovery call and a look at your current rankings, so the number reflects the actual scope rather than a package tier.
Should we run Google Ads at the same time?
Usually yes, at least at the start. Ads show you within weeks which practice-area terms actually produce enquiries, and we use that to decide where the SEO effort goes. It also covers the gap while rankings build.
Who writes the content?
We do, and someone at your firm reviews it. Legal content that has never been near a lawyer reads like it, and Google is increasingly good at telling. Review time is usually under an hour a month.
Do we need a page for every practice area?
For every area you actually want matters in, yes. One page listing eight services will not rank for any of them. We start with the areas that are most profitable for you rather than the ones with the most volume.
What about AI Overviews and ChatGPT?
Legal questions are heavily summarised by AI now, so being cited matters as much as being ranked. We structure content so it can be quoted directly and track which models mention your firm.
Can you work with our existing website?
Almost always. We would rather fix what you have than sell you a rebuild. If the platform genuinely cannot support the work we will tell you, and say why.
